GRU Group Switch card

Functionally, the GRU circuit board is divided into two identical halves, each half receiving the time slots (data) from the time switch (GSU2) over a parallel bus. The data is converted into serial form and sent in bursts over 16 different lines to 16 different GJUG4s.
