The following functions are supported by the MFU:
• 4 ISDN Basic Access interfaces providing digital connection in the 2B+D format to the public
exchange or private network as well as subscriber interfaces to S-bus terminals
• 4 analogue telephones with 4 DTMF receivers
• 8 digital system telephones
• VMU-HD functionality with 4 voice channels and 4 registers. The digitized speech is stored on a compact flash card which provides recording times of 15 minutes at high speech quality mode and 30 min. at standard speech quality.
